Block 6 Gingham Patch  Well, the line of fabric I am using does not have a gingham in it. So I chose another fabric and I think it works well. This just shows you that you don’t have to stick with the fabric that the pattern calls for. Step out of the box and choose your own colours and fabrics. They should be changed after about 8 hours of sewing and a good way of remembering this is to change your needle when you start a new project.
